What Is Object Briefcase?

Object Briefcase is an add-in for the Visual Basic 6.0 and Visual Basic 5.0 development enviornments. As an add-in, Object Briefcase allows you to store reuasable controls and/or code, as well as images in a library or scrapbook that you can access from within the development environment.

Whenever you wish to add the code or controls back to your Visual Basic project, you simply select it using the Object Briefcase Explorer and click the "Send To VB" button. Alternatively, you can either use hotkeys to send the currently selected object, or select from a QuickMenu available from within the context menus of forms and code editors.

New code and/or controls can be added to Object Briefcase using the New Object Wizard, available in forms and code editors using the context menu.

A fix was programmed to prevent an error message from appearing when the Edit Code window was displayed.
A new feature was added called "Extended IntelliPaste Parameters" that lets you define your own Reserved IntelliPaste Parameters, and switch their values based on which client or project you are working on.  See the ReadMe.TXT file for more information on this feature.

Images Are Now Supported (and shortcuts to them: BMP, ICO, JPG, GIF, WMF) as objects inside Object Briefcase. To send an image to a control, select the control and then send the image. To specify which property to send the image to, use "Send Special (Shift+Alt+5)"
Object Briefcase icons now appear on the main menu bar for faster access.

Above the current procedures declaration. This is provided for those that like to use this space for procedure header comment blocks rather than inside the procedure.
As a dynamic IntelliPaste created procedure. Provided for those situation when Object Briefcase is unable to detect that a piece of code is a procedure due to IntelliPaste Script. This allows for the "fragment" to be placed properly at the bottom of the module as a new procedure.
