SevenStar Technologies announces the release of Object Briefcase v3.4
and StarPrint/VB v3.4,
with better support for UNC Paths and other fixes.

SevenStar
Technologies announced this week that it has released the
latest versions 3.4 of its Object Briefcase
and StarPrint/VB software.
This version update
provides for better support for UNC Network paths, including folder
browsing, etc...
As well, Object Briefcase
allows for faster sending an object to Visual Basic by simply double
clicking on the object in the Object Briefcase Explorer.
StarPrint/VB also has
fixes that allow it to parse and syntax highlight Visual Basic files
better.
Object
Briefcase is a powerful full featured control, image, and code library
for Visual
Basic 6.0 and 5.0. Procedures, declarations, as well as
controls can be bundled together
in the same object and pasted in one easy step back to
Visual Basic forms and modules. As well, Object Briefcase
allows for the easy creation of code wizards
with its innovative IntelliPaste(tm) technology.
Error
handling code can also be added easily to
procedures, modules, or entire projects using Object
Briefcase's automatic repeat features.
The software
allows developers to create, manage, and reuse objects
and code. Corporate and team standards can
easily be enforced. From the "New
Object Wizard" to the QuickMenu
inside of Visual Basic forms and code editors, developers
will speed development and pay for the purchase of Object

StarPrint/VB
Standard Edition is a complete source
code print and preview solution, allowing the developer
font size control, code selection, procedure filtering
and sorting. The software nicely formats pages, wraps
long lines, highlights comments, and prints out procedure
headers in a larger font.
The Standard
Edition of StarPrint/VB is bundled with Object
Briefcase, and is provided free for all who
test drive Object Briefcase by downloading it from their web-site.
The Professional
Edition includes all of the features of the
Standard Edition, as well as full syntax highlighting
with complete font and color control, optional cover page
and table of contents. You are also given the ability to
print information specific to your company with each
printout, including name, logo, and copyright. A special
"documentation" feature allows you to print out
just the headers of your procedures for communicating
with other developers the essentials that they need to
use your programs.
Object
Briefcase's low regular list
price is $49. StarPrint/VB Standard Edition is FREE, while the
Professional Edition is $39.
